MOST COMMON FAQ

❓ Why does Prospect Ladder require a password when you sync your account?

The Prospect Ladder database is by default encrypted, as you may have seen if a person logs in into more than 3 devices some are logged out. In order to log in, we need to store the password to make it a seamless experience. Only the CTO and lead developer would be able to extract the password as it is not visible to anybody else in the team.

❓ How is each LinkedIn accounts data processed, managed & handled on the back end?

In order to show/collect the information we need to cache these details, these are stored in our database. This way it is possible to filter and order on our side (frontend). For debugging purposes, our support team can check the results of sales navigator searches and replay them.

❓Can you share what steps (if any) are taken to ensure data is as secure as possible?

Our servers are protected by hardware firewalls to ensure only data will be retrieved through our API. Only limited IP’s (office and emergency) have access to the server. Our database is encrypted, so whenever somebody does have access it will be almost impossible to decrypt that data. (Almost because it will take years to decrypt)
